Founder/Executive Creative Director

Dan began designing for print, branding and interactive in 1999. Since then, he has amassed an impressive portfolio of powerhouse clients, including 3M, General Mills, Cargill, Pepsico, Nike and Aveda. His award-winning work has been recognized nationally and internationally by the American Institute of Graphic Arts, Print, How and Graphic Design USA His award-winning work has been recognized nationally.

Emily Fiedler

Director of Operations

In Emily’s project management role she believes emotional intelligence is key to creating and maintaining successful project teams,making sure everyone’s contributions are considered. Two mantras she lives by are “Do what makes you happy” and “Be proactive versus reactive.” Also, she’s a project that can’t be managed.

Josh Vadnais

Technical Director

Josh has more than 17 years of interactive experience creation. Carrying a passion for technology and how it can be creatively implemented, he strives to improve every-day interactions and experiences. When Josh isn’t using technology to create interactive experiences, he enjoys using it to explore inventive techniques to control his house and also to create new food and beverage experiences for friends and family.

Tyler DeHague

Designer

Tyler excels at all things designer, specifically wearing square glasses, having a beard, and drinking craft beer. He occasionally dabbles in concept driven design and illustration, across a wide variety of mediums.

Amanda Bausch

Solutions Developer

Wonders how in the name of all that’s good are you supposed to convince someone to think you rock in two lines. This is why she could never make it on-line dating. Wants to be a Swiss Army Knife when she grows up. Currently a multi-head screwdriver.

Amy Abt

Marketing Director

Amy works with clients and projects across the gamut; from branding to enterprise-level websites to long-term project retainers. She brings experience in content strategy, user experience, account management and project planning to Westwerk, and has worked with such clients as Marsh Supermarkets, Solium, Taskstream, Boise State University and MN Opera.

From coordinating events and promoting client news, to spearheading Westwerk's content marketing, Marissa ensures no detail is left unaccounted for. While recently becoming a blonde, she is still waiting patiently to start having more fun.

Always willing to boldly go [please don’t sue us Lucas Entertainment] where he as a developer has not gone before. Jon is seeks new techniques to learn and use that information to create the the best sites possible. Wishes to Make America Nerdy Again.

Client satisfaction is Lienna’s top priority. Involved in the entire project from beginning to end, Lienna spends her days understanding, reviewing, and testing all projects to be sure we deliver a quality product, every time. What’s that saying, again? Those that can’t do…test?

Todd Asmus

UX/UI Designer

Todd’s design experience spans more than a decade and has a portfolio to match. With a knack for user experience and a desire to push the design envelope, Todd brings a fresh perspective and a less-is-more approach to his projects. He raises goats, and, on more than one occasion, has used the excuse, “my goats are giving birth,” to miss work.

Lead Project Manager

Maria’s favorite part about being a project manager is getting to work with, and learn from, fantastic strategists, designers, developers and QA specialists every most days. On the other days she just shakes her head.

Chelsea, with her lifelong passion of learning, loves how the programming world is constantly developing. She also enjoys reading while lounging with her two miniature dachshunds when she is not developing custom WordPress solutions.

Giving Back

Westwerk believes in giving back to the community we thrive in – WordPress. As a key player within the WordPress community, we regularly meet with other industry veterans and founders, and attend, sponsor and speak at national WordPress events. This allows us to continually stay on top of and hone new WordPress initiatives, functionality, features and more. We also annually support and sponsor WordCamp Minneapolis, a weekend-long conference focused on continuing education, networking and sharing.
