Culver Academies Launch

This spring, following a strategy session and quick visit to Indiana, Westwerk announced its partnership with private preparatory school, Culver Academies. Culver takes pride in providing a strong foundation for students to succeed in college and beyond, and focuses on teaching young people intellectual skills and developing and nurturing the full person. Culver tapped Westwerk to complete a blog redesign and elevate the institution’s news site to better demonstrate its student successes.

The blog needed a design and functionality overhaul that would exceed design standards of other higher education institutions, while still catering to its main audiences. The news blog is focused toward Culver alumni and parents, but also informs the campus community and the general public.

Together with Culver, we worked to update and enhance the overall design, functionality, performance and accessibility of the Culver news blog. The completely redesigned blog supports Culver’s advancement goals by encouraging current and past constituents to engage  with stories as well as connect with Culver on an emotional level, especially through the use of large, community-curated imagery.

The revamped news site now has a fresh new face as well as a mobile responsive design, site-wide social media integration, unique post types, social sharing, advanced analytics and many more advancements. Check out the newly launched site here!
