A Site Redesign Out of This World

Geoscience and Remote Satellite Society, more commonly referred to as GRSS, is in the business of dealing with the theory, concepts and techniques of science and engineering as they apply to the remote sensing of the earth, oceans, atmosphere and space. Mind blown? Ours was too! GRSS pinged Westwerk in 2014 for a complete site redesign that would take the society’s web presence to the next level!

Following an in-depth discovery phase, we were able to pinpoint and address the challenges the society was facing. As a group that provides a lot of important – but highly technical information – GRSS knew it needed a design and functionality overhaul that would make difficult content easy to digest while catering to the needs of its main audiences. The new site is focused toward GRSS chapters spanning the globe, but also works towards informing and promoting new members.

Together with GRSS, we worked to update and enhance the overall design, functionality, performance and accessibility of the site. The completely redesigned site supports GRSS’ advancement goals by encouraging current and future members to engage with conferences, news and opportunities directly through the site.

After over a half century in business and more than 50 different chapters, the continually growing group now has a revamped website that can better connect its chapters and share its important information. Check out the newly launched site here!
